Pierrette Jeanne Martin, age 77, of Clinton, Missouri, formerly of Pawleys Island, South Carolina, passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton, Missouri. Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at the Vansant-Mills Chapel. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 13, 2012 also at the Chapel. Burial will be in Englewood Cemetery Clinton, Missouri. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Clinton First Baptist Church Building Fund and may be left in care of the funeral home. Among survivors are son, Glenn Martin and wife, Pauline of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, daughter, Julie Dody and husband, Galen of Clinton, Missouri, two sisters, Jeannine Frascarelli, and Irene Wasik and husband, Gerry, all of Connecticut; a sister-in-law, Janet Neely of Niantic, Connecticut; 4 grandchildren; Melissa Powell and husband, Zach, Daniel Dody and wife, Whitney, Christopher Martin and wife, Danielle, and David Martin and fiance, Whitney Moore, and 4 great-grandchildren; Carson Powell, Gage Powell, Corban Dody, and Abram Dody. Also surviving her are 2 aunties, Marcelle Kirouac of New Bedford, Massachusetts, and Jilberte Legault of East Hartford, Connecticut and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
