Phyllis G. Hickman, age 72 of Clinton, Missouri passed away Wednesday, Janaury 2, 2013 at St. Luke's Hospital, Kansas City, Missouri. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 5, 2013 at the Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Englewood Cemetery, Clinton. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association and can be left in care of the funeral home. Phyllis was a member of the Drakes Chapel United Methodist Church and the Canasta Club.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Thomas and Sybil Kathryn (Miller) DeHart, and one brother, David DeHart.

Among survivors includes her husband of 52 years, Richard of the home; two sons, Gregory H. Hickman of the home and Chris Hickman and wife, Laurie of Clinton, Missouri; three grandchildren, Sarah Hickman, Anne Hickman, and Trevor Hickman; two brothers, Lynn DeHart and wife, Peggy of Gladstone, Missouri and Bruce DeHart and wife Marge of Wimberly, Texas; one sister, Mary Ellen VanOrmer of Clinton, Missouri, as well as several nieces and nephews.
