Phillip E. Dreckman, born January 1, 1937, died at age 77 on January 25, 2014 in Denver, Colorado.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Frank E. and Olive; his sister, Genevieve (who died at two days old); his brother, Frank J.; and his sister-in-law, Lois. He remained single. He is survived by his nephew, Frank W.; his nephew, Jim; his niece, Vicky; and his grand nieces and grand nephews: Nancy, Rachael, Dean, Scott, and Bea as well as many loving family members and friends.

He enjoyed family gatherings, movies, theater, reading, music, and traveling. He traveled quite a bit especially to Europe and Hawaii. Although he was a loyal American and of German decent, he had a great interest in British royalty and ancestry. His favorite movie was Gone With The Wind, but he also enjoyed Mickey Mouse and Disney movies. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2014 between 1pm and 4pm at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 11150 E. Dartmouth Ave. at Parker Rd., in Aurora, CO. Second Visitation will be held in Clinton, Missouri on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at Vansant-Mills Funeral Home at 314 W. Jefferson St. from 1pm-2pm and funeral services follow at 2pm also at Vansant-Mills; then burial will follow at Englewood Cemetery in Clinton, MO.
