Paul M. Crawford of Urich, MO formerly of Tightwad and Grandview, MO passed away on Tuesday, November 6, 2012. Any contributions may be made to the Paul M. Crawford Memorial Fund and can be left in care of the funeral home. A memorial service will be held at Vansant-Mills Chapel 314 W. Paul served in the US Air Force from 1961-1965 where he was a painter. He worked for General Motors Leeds plant for 20 years and Delco Battery for 11 years. He retired in 1997. He moved to Tightwad at that time. In 1990 Paul began his own business, Paul's Stump Service which he worked for 22 years.

Paul was married to Arlene Dyke in 1966. Three children were born to them.

Paul is preceded in death by his parents Jesse Marvin Crawford and Jemima Estelle Pierce, and brothers Jessie Macon and Charles Odis.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years Arlene, two sons Ronald Matthew Crawford and Stephanie, and Richard Brian Crawford and Megan, and one daughter Jody Beth and fiance Robert Kilgore. Paul has 16 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren with 2 more on the way, and several nephews and nieces. He is also survived by his brother James Pierce and sister Mary Sue Gregory.
