Patty J. Montgomery, age 77 of Clinton, Missouri passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at Jefferson Gardens, Clinton, Missouri. A memorial service for Patty will be on Friday, June 15, 2018 at 10:30am with visitation one hour prior to service at Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton, Missouri. Inurnment will be at Englewood Cemetery, Clinton. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Heartland Hospice and may be left in care of the funeral home.

Patty Jo Montgomery, 77, Clinton, Missouri, died at her home at Jefferson Gardens, June 12, 2018.

Patty was born November 5, 1940 to Paul Richard Saddler and Ruby Parks (Morgan) Saddler Doll in St. Clair County.

She married Frank Montgomery June 6, 1959, at the Christian Church in Clinton, Missouri.

Patty attended high school for her first two years in Appleton City, then moved to Clinton and  graduated from Clinton High School in 1958.

Patty loved having family around her, at Christmas she enjoyed hosting large family dinners for many years. She loved to paint, knit, and anything involving crafts.  She also loved to travel.

Patty was a member of the Udolpha Miller Dorman Chapter of DAR, and served as Chaplain for many years.  She worked as a secretary, for many businesses and retired from Edwards Jones in 2012.

She was preceded in Death by her husband, and parents. She is survived by her daughter Suzanne Bush and husband Taylor, and son David Montgomery, of Clinton.  One granddaughter Sarah Bush also of Clinton. Sister Shirley Crayton, of Appleton City. Brother-in-law and sister-in-laws, Bob Montgomery Clinton, Martha Keck, Clinton, Luwana Montgomery, Independence, Georgia and Paul Ross, Urich.  Numerous Nieces and Nephews and their children.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home, Clinton, Missouri.
