Patsy Gilley, age 81, of Clinton, Missouri (formerly of Oklahoma) passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, Missouri. Her family will honor her memory in their own quiet ways, as Patsy requested there be no service. We are comforted knowing that she may now rest in peace. Patsy was born in Hobart, OK, on December 22, 1942, to Gerald & Dorothy (Davis) Beutler. Patsy was 81 years old at the time of her passing. Patsy grew up 13 miles south of Lone Wolf, OK and went to school in Lone Wolf through the 7th grade when the family moved to Alfalfa, OK in 1957. She graduated with the class of 1961 before attending Cosmetology school in Clinton, OK. She worked in Hobart, OK where she met her husband Billy T. Gilley.

She is survived by her husband; Billy T. Gilley; son; Rickey Gilley and his wife Tonya; grandchildren; Amity, Emily, Robert & Corwyn; great grandchildren; Kaeden, Eden and Addison; sisters; Glenda Chain and Sherry Holstead; brother; Leslie Beutler; honorary grandchildren Krystal Medina and Rachael Bookout along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Her presence in our family was marked by her sweet and gentle nature and most famously, her homemade fudge. She certainly never forgot a birthday or an important date in her family's lives and did what she could to help celebrate.
