Patricia "Patty" Ann Roney, age 64 years. of Clinton, Missouri passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at Ridge Crest Nursing Center, Warrensburg, Missouri. A visitation for family and friends will be Monday, April 10, 2017 5:00-7:00pm at Vansant-Mills Funeral Home, Clinton, Missouri.   A visitation will be Tuesday, April 11, 2017, 1:00-2:00pm at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Kansas City Missouri with graveside services following at 2:00pm.  Family suggests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society and may be left in care of Vansant-Mills Funeral Home, Clinton.   Fond memories and condolences may be left online at www.vansant-millsfuneralhome.com .

Patty was the daughter of Warren and Joan (Lamberson)  Olson.  She was married to Jack Roney.  She graduated from Raytown South High School.  After 20 years working for Sears she retired.  She had served as chairman of the Cancer Drive and was also a trustee of the Eagles Club in Clinton.  Patty enjoyed reading, watching TV, especially soap operas, playing cards, and interacting with children.

Survivors include her husband, Jack Roney of the home; her mother, Joan Olson of Raytown, Missouri; sisters, Kay Greenwell of St. Louis, Missouri, Bridget Olson of Independence, Missouri, Rita Olson-Stawicki of Kansas City, and Theresa VanBaale of Kansas City; one brother, Warren G. Olson of Kansas City; aunt, Mary Hamm of Grandview; and a niece and nephew.

Patty was preceded in death by her father, Warren Olson, and a nephew, John Bennett Greenwell
