Patricia E Jones, age 78, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 9, 2026, in Appleton, MO. Following Pat's wishes were to be cremated. A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Fond memories and condolences may be left online at www.vansant-millsfuneralhome.com.

Pat was born May 24, 1948, in Fort Dodge, Iowa, the daughter of Ralph Junior and Beverly Ann (Spencer) Dennis. She graduated from United Community High School, Boone, IA, in 1966. She became a Registered Nurse after graduating from high school. She spent most of her life working in nursing. She was united in marriage to Richard Bauer and to this union two sons, Richard and Brian were born. They later divorced and she married Raymond Jones. They adopted their son, Stephen. She subsequently married Bill Wilcox.

For many years Pat loved horses. At one point she and Raymond had 26 horses on their ranch in Montrose, MO. In retirement she spent countless hours scrapbooking creating beautiful keepsake scrapbooks.

Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Jones, parents, Ralph & Beverly Dennis and a stillborn sister, Susan Marie Dennis.

She is survived by her husband, Bill Wilcox; sons Richard, Brian and Stephen; sister Judy (Jerry) Stumbo, brothers, Ralph (Jane) Dennis, Robert (Beverly) Dennis and Jimmie (Diane) Dennis.
