Okla Henson, 97, McLoud, Oklahoma passed away Friday, September 13, 2019 at her home in McLoud. Fond memories and condolences may be left online at www.vansant-millsfuneralhome.com . Funeral service will be on Friday, September 20, 2019 at Northeast Baptist Church, Clinton, Missouri at 11am with visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow at Englewood Cemetery, Clinton, Missouri. The family suggests memorial contributions to be made to Northeast Baptist Church or to the Clinton Senior Center and may be left in care of the funeral home.

Okla Deane Henson was born to Joe and Ella Smith in Boynton, Oklahoma on September 5, 1922. She grew up in Checotah, Oklahoma where she met and married John Eldon Henson, shortly after they were married they moved to Missouri. They had two children, Carolyn Faye and Robert Wesley. She is preceded in death by her husband, Eldon; both children, Carol and Bob, and one granddaughter, Shawna Albin. She is survived by 3 grandchildren, Randy Reasoner and wife Linda of McLoud, Oklahoma; Larry Reasoner and wife Angie of Piedmont, Oklahoma; and Kyle Henson and wife Marnisa of Clinton, Missouri, 8 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
