Nellie V. Lucas, age 84 of Clinton, Missouri passed away Saturday, November 4, 2006 at her home in Clinton. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, November 7, 2006 at the Clinton Christian Church with burial in the Englewood Cemetery, Clinton. Nellie will lie in state from 2:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. Monday at the Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton. Family suggests contributions to the Clinton Christian Church and may be left at the funeral home.

Nellie was married to Raymond L. Lucas on December 22, 1946 in Kansas City, Kansas. She was a member of the Clinton Christian Church.

She is survived by her husband, Raymond of the home; two sons, Stanley Ray Lucas and wife, Gwen of Warrensburg, Missouri and Ricky Lee Lucas of Kingsville, Missouri; two daughters, Donna LaNell Smith and husband, Herb of Deepwater, Missouri and Peggy Divine and husband, Ross of Clinton, Missouri; one sister, Virga Rucker of Kansas City, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Brandon Crain, Tandy Barber, Karli Taylor, Doug Love, Jake Love, Kayla Lucas and Harley Lucas and one great grandson, Jacob Taylor.
