Naomi M. Philpott, age 87 years, passed away Thursday, July 31, 2014 at St. Mary's Manor, Blue Springs, Missouri. Funeral services will be held Saturday August 9, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. at the United Methodist Church of Clinton, MO. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place at Englewood Cemetery, Clinton MO. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the West Central Alzheimer's Chapter and may be left in care of the funeral home. Naomi was born November 14, 1926 in Rich Hill, MO, to Albert Robert Stoddard and Sarah Ann Clymer. Naomi was a member of the PEO, the United Methodist Church, and was an agent for Coldwell Townsend Reality for 12 years. She was also a volunteer at the Samaritan Center and enjoyed gardening, golfing, fishing, and bridge club.

Naomi was preceded in death by her husband Jack, her parents, two brothers and three sisters.

She is survived by her 4 sons; Steve(Bonnie) of Oak Grove, MO, Dave(Rhonda) of Lenexa, KS, John(Ruth)of Salisbury, NC, and Jim(Mary Lou)of Clinton, MO, sister Norma Fay Cornell, of KCMO, and five grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
