Mildred L. Jenkins, age 98 of Belton, Missouri (formerly of Clinton) passed away Thursday, July 31, 2008 at Beautiful Savior Home, Belton, Missouri. Graveside services will be 11:00 A.M., Saturday, August 2, 2008 at Englewoood Cemetery, Clinton. Mildred will lie in state from 12 Noon to 5 P.M. Friday at Vansant-Mills Funeral Home, Clinton. Family suggests contributions to the Clinton United Methodist Church or Catholic Community Healthcare Hospice and may be left at the funeral home. Mildren was born in Stratford, Texas the daughter of Ezra Andy and May Maude Hanes on January 29, 1910. She was married to Fred L. Jenkins who preceded her in death. She was a member of the Clinton United Methodist Church, the Poly Credo Bible Club and the Twilight Garden Club.

She is survived by her son, Jim Jenkins and wife, Carol of Belton, Missouri; four grandchidren, Christopher Alan Jenkins and wife, Cindy, Debi Elaine, David Leroy Jenkins and wife, Gina and Amy Michelle Harris and husband, Leonard; nine great grandchildren and one 1/2 sister, Betty Jean Simpson of Clinton, Missouri.
