Mildred Viola Flaherty age 93, of Clinton, Missouri passed away Saturday, May 20, 2006 at Clinton Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. Funeral Mass will be 9:00 a.m. Monday May 22, 2006 at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Clinton. Entombment in the Mt. Olivet Mausoleum, Kansas City, Missouri will be 12 Noon Monday. The family will receive friends Sunday, May 21, 2006 from 7:00-8:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 8:00 p.m. at the Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton. Family suggests contributions to the Holy Rosary Catholic School or the Twin Lakes Hospice and may be left at the funeral home.

She was preceded in death by her husband of28 years, John W. Flaherty.

She is survived by three sons, John "Pat" Flaherty and wife, Marnie Hammer of Kansas City, Missouri, Vince Flaherty of Urich, Missouri, and Jim Flaherty and wife, Linda of Clinton; one daughter, Nina Hixon and husband, Bill of Piedmont, Oklahoma and six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
