Mieckel M. Holliday, age 59 years, passed away Monday, April 11, 2016 at his home in Clinton, Missouri. It was Mieckel's wishes to be cremated and to have a private family service. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Heartland Hospice and can be left in care of the funeral home. Mieckel was born to George and Phyllis (Burnell) Holliday on October 21, 1956 in Winchester Kansas. He loved fishing, boating, flowers, and rebuilding classic cars. He worked as a mechanic at Jim Raysik's for a few years, and over 10 years for Challenger Transportation as a truck driver.

He is preceded in death by his parents George and Phyllis (Burnell) Holliday, brother, George Holliday Jr., and sister, Lucille Sgeinlage.

Among survivors are his fiancee Susan Hill, 2 brothers; James Holliday, and Lawrence Holliday, and 2 sisters; Sharon Kay Holliday,and Cheryl Lynn Lay.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home of Clinton, Missouri.
