In Loving Memory of Michelle Lee Keeling
Michelle Lee Keeling, 57, of Urich, Missouri, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2026. She was born on December 24, 1968, in Long Beach, California, to Judy Baker. Michelle grew up in Weaubleau, Missouri, and later made her home in Urich, where she built a life surrounded by the people she loved most.
Michelle was many things to many people, but to her family, she was simply Mom, Grandma, daughter, sister, aunt, and someone who loved with her whole heart.
Her greatest joy in life was her grandchildren. They were the center of her world, and anyone who knew Michelle knew just how much she loved being their grandma. She treasured every moment she had with them and found happiness in watching them grow, making memories with them, and simply being there for them.
Michelle had a caring heart and a way of finding the good in the people she met throughout her life. She would do anything she could for someone she loved, and her family will always remember her for the love, laughter, memories, and moments she gave them.
She enjoyed the simple things that made her happy. Michelle loved going shopping, especially browsing through thrift stores and finding those little treasures. She loved cooking and trying new recipes, and she enjoyed listening to country music. Gardening and camping were among the many things she enjoyed, especially when they gave her another chance to make memories with the people she loved.
Michelle is survived by her daughter, Chantell Gerling and significant other Josh Holden; her son, Brandon Baumgarden and wife Sandra; and her daughter, Chelbi Schnorf and significant other Brandon Hendren, along with her son, Blaine Schnorf.
She leaves behind eight grandchildren who brought so much love and happiness into her life: Aubrie Gerling, Lylah Gerling, Bryson Gerling, Kaulleyna Baumgarden, Wynter Baumgarden, Ashleyn Baumgarden, Rodney Baumgarden, Waylon Schnorf.
She is also survived by her mother, Judy Baker; her sister, Desiree Milburn and husband Mike; her sister, Christina Newkirk; and her brother, Jerry Baker and wife Catherine, along with many extended family members and friends who loved her dearly.
Michelle was preceded in death by her son, Luke Riddle; her grandson, Loukis Baumgarden; and many other beloved family members and loved ones.
Though her absence leaves a hole that can never truly be filled, Michelle's family will carry her with them in the memories she left behind, in the recipes she shared, the music she loved, the laughter they remember, and most of all, in the love she gave so freely.
Her greatest legacy will always be the family she loved so deeply. And as long as they remember her, tell her stories, make her recipes, play the music she loved, and love one another the way she loved them, a piece of Michelle will always remain.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home to assist with Michelle's final burial expenses.
A Celebration of Life will be held on October 3, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at the Urich Lions Club. Family and friends are invited to come together to remember Michelle, share cherished memories, and celebrate the life of a woman who was deeply loved and will never be forgotten.
