Merle J. Bonnewitz, age 71 years, of Clinton, Missouri passed away Thursday, November 13, 2014 at Kindred Hospital, Kansas City, Missouri. A memorial visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 P.M. Saturday, November 15, 2014 at the Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton, Missouri. Private family inurnment will held at a later date. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Twin Lakes Hospice and may be left in care of the funeral home. Merle was born November 13, 1943 in Pascagoula, Mississippi the daughter of Harry and Corrine (Davis) Bloomer. She enjoyed cooking, oil painting, shopping, and was interested in History. She loved her grandkids dearly.

Merle was preceded in death by her parents, and two siblings, Harold and Sammie Bloomer.

She is survived by her husband, Dennis of the home, two sons, John Bonnewitz of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Matthew Bonnewitz (Carla) of Osceola, Missouri, three grandchildren, Mackenzie, Taylor, and Rosie Bonnewitz, numerous nieces and nephews, and her furbabies, Duffer and Bo.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home of Clinton, Missouri.
