Melvin Henry Hook's Obituary
Melvin H."Sonny" Hook, age 72 of Clinton, passed away Monday, January 16, 2012 at his home.
Memorial services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, January 20, 2012 at Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton. Visitation will be one hour prior to service also at the chapel. Graveside services will be 2:00 P.M. at the Missouri Veteran's Cemetery, Higginsville, Missouri. Family suggests memorial contributions to the Melvin Hook Memorial Fund and can be left in care of Funeral Home. Fond memories may be left online at www.vansant-millsfuneralhome.com.
Melvin served in the U.S. Navy. He worked at Rival Manufacturing and most recently as a Wal-Mart greeter. He was a former member of the Clinton V.F.W. and a lifetime member of the Clinton Eagles Club. He was a Catholic.
Survivors include his wife Beulahmae; son Matthew Hook, Chillicothe, Missouri; brother Lewis Allen Hook, Savannah, Georgia; sisters Cheryl Howard and Gloria French, Concordia, Missouri, and half-sister Ruby Cadman, Rapid City, South Dakota.
Arrangements entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home, Clinton, Missouri.
