Melba Jean Willett, age 88, passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2025 at her home in Clinton, Missouri. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 AM on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at the First Baptist Church in Clinton, Missouri with funeral services also at the church at 11:00 AM followed by a private family graveside. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital and may be left in care of the funeral home.

Melba Jean Willet was born on June 19, 1936 to Fred Wallin and Beulah (Alpin) Wallin in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas.

She is preceded in death by her parents Fred and Beulah Wallin, her son-in-law Gary Michael, her grandson Gary Lee Michael Jr., and her brother-in-law Hatley Doan.

Survivors include her husband William L. Willett, her two children Melissa Michael, and Alan (Jennifer) Willett, 6 grandchildren; Jackie (Mark) Midkiff, Jennifer (Michael) Ruff, Chris (Nikki) Michael, Ashley (Tyler) Bishop, David (Desiree) Willett, and Kolbe Jackson, 9 great grandchildren; Garrison Midkiff, Allie Miskiff, Makayla Midkiff, Liam Ruff, Gabrielle Ruff, Katerina Ruff, Tanner Michael, Porter Michael, and Andrew Yohe, her brother, Mike (Karen) Wallin and her sister Shelba Doan.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home in Clinton, Missouri.
