Maxine L. Plumlee, age 83, Clinton, Missouri, passed away Monday, April 13, 2009 at Truman Medical Center-Lakewood, Lee's Summit, Missouri. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 17, 2009 at Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton, with burial in Parks Chapel Cemetery, Clinton. Visitation will be on hour prior to service on Friday.

Maxine was a homemaker. She was a member of the Parks Chapel Baptist Church, Clinton.

Survivors include two sons, Larry Plumlee and wife, Shirley of Manhattan, Kansas and Lynn Plumlee and wife, Valarie of Overland Park, Kansas; three daughters, Lois Hale and husband, Dan and Rita Snider, both of Clinton, and Linda Ross and husband, Kenny of Pleasant Hill, Missouri; one brother, James Schmidt of Lake Orien, Michigan; one sister, Ann Givens and husband, Ed of Dothan, Alabama as well as twelve grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
