Obituary

Mary Stimac-Palmer, age 53, of Kingsville, Missouri passed away on Monday, September 23, 2024 at Truman Lake Manor in Lowry City, Missouri. Mary's wishes were to be cremated with no services. Fond memories and condolences can be left online at www.vansant-millsfuneralhome.com .

"Mary Ann Stimac (Palmer) was born January 30th, 1971 in Wyandotte County, KS to Sherry Lynn Dormer and John Anthony Stimac. The family moved to Kingsville, MO when she was young and that is where she grew up — amongst farm animals as well as cats and dogs.

A few notable things in her life were the births of her two children; Caleb Roy Painter & Ryley Elizabeth Oleary. Her work at Del-Haven, attending church & camp related activities to strengthen her relationship with God. Her only grandchild was born in 2022 & was one of the biggest joys of her life. Mom owned her own pizza restaurant, Pizza Depot, ultimately needing to close in order to take care of her young family and her mother. Family always came first, this also comes into play when residing in FL, as happy as she's ever been, she was called home to MO to take care of her brother with cancer. Leaving the sandy beaches & sunshine was her biggest regret but she always spoke fondly spoke of FL until her death.

Mary was a servant of God, always willing to give a helping hand no matter what. She worked herself hard and gave her all but never complained. When asked what music she would want played when she had a funeral (her wishes changed over time to opt not to) she said unto Ryley, "This song is how I tried to live my life," referring to Others by Charles D. Meigs.

Her best friend and dog, Tod, was ever so spoiled with toys and treats alike. Her love language was gift giving and she never expected anything in return. A favorite pastime of her and Caleb was going on road trips to various state parks & historical sites across the country. She also enjoyed camping. Her favorite holiday was Thanksgiving & she loved the 4th of July, shooting off bottle-rockets with family.

Passing away one day from her mom, (Sept 23rd & Sept 24th) she is now newly reunited with her mother and other family members in heaven, waiting for all of us to join her. In closing, please always remember to lend a helping hand to a stranger, relative or friend in memory of Mary. It's what she would have wanted and it's what she was best at."

Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home in Clinton, Missouri.
