Mary Lucille Gardner Paddock, age 89 of Clinton, Missouri left this world on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at the Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton, Missouri. At Lucille's request, she was cremated with services to follow on Sunday, January 18, 2015, at 2:00 P.M., at the Vansant – Mills Funeral Home, located in Clinton, Missouri. The family suggests contributions be made to Children's Mercy Hospital located in Kansas City Missouri, which may be left at the funeral home. Lucille is survived by her two brothers, Clarence Junior Gardner of Montrose, Missouri and Daniel Thomas Gardner, of Kansas City, and one Sister In Law Marva Lee Gardner of Raytown, as well as Nephews, Richard Cumpton, Leon Cumpton, Robert Gardner, and Dale Neil and Nieces, Joyce Kidwiler, Cindy Kagarice, Barbara Crook, Diane Ingram, Beth Tesser, and Jennifer Snethen as well as several Great and Great Great Nephews and Nieces.

Lucille graduated from George Washington High School in Los Angeles, California during the Second World War. Lucille and Frank were joined in marriage in the year 1946 with the ceremony located at the Methodist Church in Clinton, Missouri. Lucille and her husband Frank, loved to travel and play golf. Lucille was an avid amateur golfer, winning amateur golf tournaments in the Southern California area during the 1960's and 1970's. Lucille and Frank owned and operated their real estate office in Beverly Hills, California where Lucille assisted Frank with the everyday activities of their office. They lived in Newport Beach, California and Costa Mesa, California from 1960 to 1977 before moving to Clinton, Missouri, where they retired. Lucille was a sweet, kind hearted lady that thought of everyone but herself. Lucille's Christian faith was very strong and you could see the love she had for others on a daily basis.

Lucille was preceded in death by her Husband, Franklin A. Paddock, her Father, Clarence Gardner and Mother, Mary Caroline Myers Gardner, her Sister. Lillian Gardner Cumpton, and her Brother in Law, Kenneth Cumpton, her Brother's, Kenneth Gardner and Boyce Gardner, and her Sister in Law Kay Gardner.
