Mary McMillin, age 75, passed away on Friday October 31, 2025 at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton, Missouri. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025 from 1:00-3:00 PM at the Vansant-Mills Chapel in Clinton.

Mary Jean McMillin (Gowin) was born February 10, 1950, to Russell Gowin and Goldie Arlene (James) in Windsor MO.  Mary married Kenneth McMillin on February 19th, 1965, in Clinton.

Mary took care of her family and worked as a waitress for many years, primarily at the Windmill restaurant in Clinton.  She loved spending time with her husband Kenny, family and friends.  She stood firmly behind her beliefs and opinions.  She enjoyed watching game shows and going to the boats, playing slots and video poker.

Preceded in death were her parents, Russell Gowin and Goldie Beard (James), husband Kenneth, one brother Russ Gowin and one sister Judy Pearson.

Mary is survived by her two sons, William McMillin of Columbia and Rodney (Debbie) McMillin of Blue Springs, one daughter Deanna (John) Younce of Clinton; eight grandchildren, Joshua (Lacie) McMillin, Ryan McMillin (Cayenne), Jack McMillin, Ashley (John) Courtney, Jamie (Jeff) Willis, Haley (Terrance) Lewis, Garrett McMillin and Tyler McMillin; one step grandchild Bobbie Younce, seven great-grandchildren; Michael Finch, Phenix Courtney, Autumn Willis, Elena Bishop, Olivia Bishop, Camilla Klompien and future baby Brayden Lewis

Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home in Clinton, Missouri.
