Mary Hendrick, 90, Clinton, Missouri passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at her home in Clinton. Fond memories and condolences may be left online at www.vansant-millsfuneralhome.com . Funeral service will be on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at 2pm with visitation one hour prior to the service at Vansant-Mills Funeral Home, Clinton, Missouri. Interment will follow at Vansant Road Cemetery, Clinton, Missouri. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Twin Lakes Hospice and may be left in care of the funeral home.

Mary "Evelyn" (Johnson) Hendrick passed away peacefully, July 17, 2019 at her home at the age of 90. Evelyn was born April 16, 1929 in Montrose, Missouri to Walter H. Sr. and Ruby (Odle) Johnson. She graduated from Montrose High School in 1946 and went on to graduate from Kansas City Business School the following year. She worked as a private secretary for a physician at St. Margaret's Hospital, Kansas City, and later as a bookkeeper for a grain company at the Kansas City Board of Trade. On December 28, 1951 Evelyn married her childhood sweetheart, Clifford Hendrick.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers, Walter and Willard.

Evelyn is survived by her husband of 67 years of the home, daughters, Sandra of North Carolina and Karen of Kansas, 5 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, a brother, Wayne (Norma) Johnson, Clinton, sister-in-law, Louise Johnson, Clinton, brothers-in-law, Ralph Hendrick, Georgia, and William (Marge) Hendrick, Washington and many nieces and nephews.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home, Clinton, Missouri.
