Mary Maud East, age 68 of Clinton, Missouri passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2007 at her home. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M., Friday, January 26, 2007 at Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton with burial in Englewood Cemetery, Clinton. Family will receive friends one hour before the service on Friday at the chapel. Family suggests contributions to the Tebo Baptist Church Vacation Bible School and may be left at the funeral home.

Mrs East was born in Henry County, Missouri the daughter of Paul Eugene and Opal Georgia Owen Austin. She was a member of the Tebo Baptist Church, Clinton.

She is survived by her husband, Gene of the home; one son, Lyle East and wife, Lois of Clinton; two duaghters, Pam Doak and husband, Tim of Galena, Missouri and Joy DeLozier and husband, John of Clinton; one brother, Paul Austin of Kingsville, Missouri; two sisters, Jean Gray and husband, J. K. of Independence, Missouri and Jan Adams and husband, Bruce of Stockton, California; seven grandchildren, Jeremiah Doak and wife, Chasity, Jill Ragan and husband, Matt, Josh Doak, Danielle DeLozier, Levi East, Stephanie Cooper and husband, Curt and Christian DeLozier and wife, Sibyl and five great grandchildren, Maddy Ragan, Maci Doak, Shelby Ragan, Jack Cooper and Olivia Cooper.
