Martha J. Ross, age 51 years, passed away Thursday, July 17, 2014 at Kansas City Hospice House, Kansas City, Missouri. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, July 21, 2014 at the Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton, Missouri. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Iconium Cemetery, Iconium, Missouri. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Wyatt and Jacob Ross Educational Fund and can be left in care of the funeral home. Martha was born April 30, 1963 in Clinton, Missouri the daughter of Richard and Donna (Scott) Moritz. She was a school teacher for the Calhoun School District. Martha was a member of the Missouri State Teachers Association.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, John Thomas Ross who died in September of 2011.

Survivors include 3 sons; Wyatt Thomas, Jacob Tell, and Noah Ryan (Stephanie) Ross all of Clinton, Missouri, step-daughter, Amber Renea Ross and step-son, Brandon Ray Ross both of Montrose, Missouri, 2 brothers, Mark Moritz and Richard (Katrina) Moritz both of Calhoun, Missouri, sister, Benise (Steve) Hudek of North Port, Florida, her mother-in-law, Mary Ross of Clinton, Missouri, 3 grandchildren; Parker, Madalyn, and Grayson Ross, as well as 5 nieces and nephews; Oliver Moritz, Matthew Stewart, Danny Stewart, Chelsea Hudek, and Cameron Hudek.
