Martha Ellen Hannes, age 66, of Clinton, Missouri passed away on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 PM on Monday, August 9, 2021 at Vansant-Mills Chapel in Clinton, Missouri. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at Vansant-Mills Chapel. Burial in Parks Shady Grove Cemetery in Monegaw Springs, Missouri. Martha was born August 26th, 1954 to Loren and Helen Anderson in Harrisonville, MO. She attended school in Archie and graduated from Cass Midway. On March 18, 1977 Martha gave birth to her first love Laura Michelle Anderson (which later became Hannes.)

On November 20, 1983 Martha married Jeffery Lynn Hannes. From this union two more children were born, Daniel Robert Hannes and Helen Hope Hannes.

Martha's greatest joy in life was the time she spent as a stay-at-home mom raising her three children. She loved spending time with them and her many grandchildren especially around the holidays. Martha loved a good practical joke and would, on occasion, dress up in different costumes to play pranks on her family. She was always up for a game of Cribbage and of course a trip to the casino. Martha had a wit and sense of humor that will never be matched and will always be missed. Rest In Peace Martha you will be missed and loved always.

Martha was preceded in death by her parents Loren and Helen Anderson, in-laws Robert Sr. and Mary Hannes, brother and sister-in-laws Dan and Lin Hannes, Bob Hannes, and Roscoe Hocker.

Martha is survived by her husband Jeffery Hannes of Clinton, MO., her children; Laura and Lance Armintrout of Peculiar, MO, Daniel Hannes of Kansas City, MO, Helen and David Parks of Deepwater, MO., Sister and brother-in-laws Peggy and Tom Baldwin, Dee and Calvin Gorsage, Sister-in-laws Dixie Hannes and Mary Hocker, Grandchildren Chase, Britini, Chance, Jacklyn, Samantha, Angela, Ashlyn, Jameson, Danika, and Dayton, One Great-Grandchild Daliya, Two step Children Jeffery and Jolynn Hannes, Step Grandchildren Hudson, Hayden, and Willow, and many nieces and nephews including Mike and Tammy Baldwin.
