Marjorie Jean Harrelson, age 65 of Deepwater, Missouri, passed away at Centerpointe Hospital, Independence, Missouri on Wednesday, October 21, 2009. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 24, 2009 at Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton, with burial in Clinton Memory Gardens Cemetery, Clinton. Family will receive friends 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday at Vansant-Mills Chapel. Family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society and may be left in the care of the funeral home. Marjorie worked for Rival Manufacturing before retiring. She was married to Donald Harrelson, who preceded her in death. She loved to play bingo.

She is survived by her sons, Douglas Harrelson of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Dennis Harrelson of Warsaw, Missouri, and Danny Harrelson and Darrell Harrelson both of Florida; her daughter, Melissa Hodge of Brownington, Missouri; two brothers Edward Thomas of Grandview, Missouri and Donald Thomas and one sister, Carolyn Thomas both of Deepwater, Missouri; as well as four grandchildren.
