Marguerite "Maggie" Schmidt was born March 10, 1946 in Chicago, Illinois. To Joseph and Mary Blank, she was the youngest of nine children. Maggie entered into rest August 18, 2013 in Deepwater, Missouri.

She is survived by her four children: Richard Schmidt of Chicago, Illinois and Debbi, Dawn Neuenschwander and her husband Kyle of Deepwater, Missouri, David Schmidt of Clinton, Missouri and Brook, and Kimberly Todd and her husband Matt of Brownington, Missouri. Six grandchildren: Christina, Allyson, Shelby, Morgan, Lilia, and Gabriel. One great granddaughter: Mia. Three sisters: Helen Harkins of Waynesburg, PA, Barbara Bierwirth of Olathe, KS and Linda Meeks of Maryland . Many, many nieces and nephews.

Maggie is preceded in death by her parents, one sister, four brothers, one niece, and two nephews.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 P.M., Thursday, August 22, 2013 at the Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton, Missouri. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
