Margaret Rosemary Ramey (Fife), age 70 years, went home to be with Jesus, Saturday, June 24, 2017 at her home in Kansas City, Missouri.  Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, June 30, 2017 at Vansant-Mills Funeral Home, Clinton, Missouri.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.  Interment will be in Englewood Cemetery, Clinton, Missouri.  The family suggests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society and my be left in care of the funeral home.  Fond memories and condolences can be left online at www.vansant-millsfuneralhome.com .

Margaret was born June 6, 1947 in Henry County, Missouri the first child of Roy and Rose Fife.  She finished her elementary school years at Davis R-12 where she was bussed into Clinton to attend Clinton Junior and Senior High.  While in high school, Margaret was a member of Henry County 4-H Club.  She competed in clothing and foods in the county fair.  After high school, Margaret enrolled at the University of Missouri, where she graduated with a major in Home Economics and a minor in Interior Design.

Margaret was a member of the LaDue Methodist Church.  In August of 1979, Margaret met and married James Lee Ramey.  She retired from the Kansas City branch of the IRS after 31 years of service as a clerk.

Survivors include her husband, James Lee Ramey of the home, daughter Heidi, son James Lee Ramey, Jr. and daughter-in-law Kristen all of Kansas City, MO, brother Raymond of Deepwater, MO, 3 nieces, 9 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, and 3 great great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Rose Fife, sister-in-law Darline, and a niece Laura.
