Margaret A. Parks, age 78 of Clinton, Missouri passed away Thursday, April 24, 2008 at Clinton Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center, Clinton.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M., Monday, April 28, 2008 at Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton with burial in Englewood Cemetery, Clinton. Family will receive friends one hour before the service on Monday at the chapel. Family suggests contributions to the First Presbyterian Church, Clinton and may be left at the funeral home. Margaret was born October 29, 1929, the daughter of John Frederick and Minnie Augusta Standke Braun. On Ocotber 25, 1953 she was married to Samuel Allen Parks at the First Presbyterian Church, Clinton where she is a member. Sam preceded her in death on April 27, 2007. She worked for the Missouri Division of Unemployment for over 30 years.

She is survived by one sister, Esther Hargrave and husband, Leon of Clinton; a brother-in-law, Bodie Parks and wife, Kay of Clinton and two sisters-in-law, Nancy Johnson of Lee's Summit, Missouri and Boann Parks of Clinton and a number of nieces and nephews, Linda Cauthon, Peggy McCartney, Vickie Greufe, Randy Braun, Sandy Braun, Harding Lee Braun, Fred Braun, Dick Randolph, Mike Parks, Steve Parks, Monte D. Parks III, Martin Parks, Merritt Parks, Keith Johnson, Kurt Johnson, Kent Johnson, Chris Parks, Todd Parks, Melanie Clovis and Shalon Dittus as well as a number of great nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
