Margaret Louise Newland, age 59, passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at the Johnson County Care Center in Warrensburg, Missouri. A memorial service will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, November 30, 2012 at the Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton. Burial will be in Englewood Cemetery, Clinton. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Margaret Newland Memorial Fund and may be left in care of the funeral home. She was a homemaker and a member of the Red Hat Club.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two step-brothers, Ervin Lee Loyd and Charles Wayne Loyd, and a sister, Martha Jane Loyd.

Among survivors are two sons, Brian Phillippe of Missouri and William Charles Phillippe, Jr. of Ark City, Kansas; four brothers, William Franklin Loyd (Pete) of Arkansas, John R. Loyd of Clinton, Missouri, Ronnie Loyd and wife, Becky of Deerfield, Missouri, and Harold Loyd and wife, Linda of Clinton, Missouri; three sisters; Betty Minnie of Ark City, Kansas, Kathy Nelson and husband, Larry of Ashland, Missouri, and Marilyn Craig and husband, Bill of Windsor, Missouri, as well as many aunts, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
