Marcel Marceau Cretel, age 80 of Lincoln, Missouri passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at North Kansas City Hospital, North Kansas City, Missouri. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M., Saturday, March 29, 2008 at Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton with burial in Englewood Cemetery, Clinton. Family will receive friends from 7:00 P.M. to 8:30 P.M. Marcel was born in Kansas City, Missouri. He was a Navy veteran of W. W. II. He was married to Marie Joanna Giaramita Cretel on July 30, 1947. They made their home in Kansas City where he worked in the maintenance department at Richards Gebaur Air Force Base in Grandview, Missouri. After retiring they moved to Warsaw, Missouri. He was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church, Warsaw and the Elk's Lodge, Warsaw.

He is survived by three sons, Marcel T. Cretel of Lincoln, Missouri, Joseph A. Cretel of Independence, Missouri and Marceau P. Cretel of Fulton, Missouri; two brothers, Roland Cretel of Osceola, Missouri and Leon Cretel of Lincoln, Missouri as well as six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; three step grandchildren and six step great grandchildren.
