Lulu Belle (King) Skaggs, age 91 years, passed away Friday, September 15, 2017 at Monterey Park Rehabilitation & Health Care Center, Independence, Missouri.  Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at the Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.  Interment will be in Englewood Cemetery, Clinton, Missouri.  The family suggests memorial contributions to Clinton Animal Rescue Endeavor (C.A.R.E) and may be left in care of the funeral home.  Fond memories and condolences can be left online at www.vansant-millsfuneralhome.com .

Lulu was born November 8, 1925 in Osceola, Missouri the daughter of Elza and Estella (Porter) King.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, her son Howard King, 3 brothers, and 3 sisters.

Survivors include 2 granddaughters, Deborah King of the home, and Doreen Jefferys of Ottawa, KS, 2 great-grandchildren, Christina King-Kusler and Eric Jefferys, a great great-grandchild, Sunny Jefferys, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and family.
