Lucille D. Cox, age 89 years, passed away Monday, December 14, 2020 at Truman Lake Manor in Lowry City, Missouri.  Graveside services will be held 11:00AM, Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Mt. Lucille was born January 1, 1931 in Osceola, Missouri the daughter of Charles and Neita (Smith) Simmons.  She was a member of Northeast Baptist Church of Clinton.  Lucille loved baking, sewing and making quilts, and fishing.  She also enjoyed spending time outdoors in her garden.

Lucille is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Gerald Dean Cox, as well as two brothers and a sister.

She is survived by 3 children; Johnnie Cox(Barbara) of Clinton, Missouri, David Cox (Sandra) of Clinton, Missouri and Bonnie Miller of Kansas City, Missouri, 6 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and a sister Joan Green (Don) of Kansas City, Missouri.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Vansant-Mills Funeral Home, Clinton, Missouri.
