Lonnie J. King, age 83 of Deepwater, Missouri passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at his home. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday, June 3, 2013 at the Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton, Missouri. No visitation. Interment will follow in Deepwater Cemetery, Deepwater, Missouri. The family suggests memorial contributions to Twin Lakes Hospice or Deepwater Cemetery and may be left in care of the funeral home. Lonnie was born December 15, 1929 in Eldorado, Kansas the son of Dan Lonnie and Nellie Marie (Smiley) King. He served in the U.S. Air Force for twenty years, retiring in 1978.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tracy E. Pudge, his parents, and brother, Bobby (Hap) King.

Survivors include his wife, Diana King of the home; two sons, Kirby King of Placerville, California and Kerry King of Cameron Park, California; daughter, Kela Ramirez of Citrus Heights, California; two brothers, David King (Roberta) of Raytown, Missouri and Danny King (Bobbie) of Independence, Missouri; as well as numerous step-children, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home of Clinton, Missouri.
