Lois J. Proffitte, age 76 of Clinton, Missouri passed away Monday, June 23, 2008 at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital, Clinton.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, June 28, 2008 at Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton with visitation one hour prior to service Saturday at the chapel. Interment will be at Good Hope Cemetery, Clinton. Family suggests contributions to the Leukemia Society or Good Hope Church and may be left at the funeral home. Among survivors include her daughter, Sherry Overshon of Gerald, Missouri and two sons, Michael Proffitte of St. Peters, Missouri and Danny Proffitte of St. Ann, Missouri; two sisters, Imogene Reed of Florida and Bernice Mabury, Piedmont, Missouri; five grandchildren, Eric Proffitte, Jason Proffitte, Carisa Fryer, Tracie Gerber, and Kassie Overshon; and seven great grandchildren.
