Linnie A. Smith, age 80, of Clinton, Missouri, passed awayJuly 5, 2011 at Research Medical Center, Belton, Missouri. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M., Saturday, July 9, 2011 at the Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton with burial in Englewood Cemetery, Clinton. Family will receive friends from 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. Linnie was born in Brownington, Missouri the daughter of David and Ethyl (Parks) Plumlee. She was a 1948 graduate of Clinton High School. She was married to Glen Smith, Jr. on June 25, 1948.
She was a member of the Trinity Luthern Church, Clinton and a Red Cross volunteer for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Glen; four sisters, Elsie, Reno, Dorothy and Hallie; two brothers, Phil and Alfred and a great grandson, Jacob.

She is survived by her children, Brenda Church and husband, Lowell of Kansas City, Missouri, Joyce Eager and husband, Mike of Belton, Rex Smith and wife, Doris and Tony Smith and wife, Diana, all of Clinton; nine grand children, Justin, Elizabeth, Brandy, Lindsey, Samantha, Andy, Tyler, Jarrod and Travis and six great grandchlldren.
