Linda S. Shy, age 78, of Clinton, Missouri passed away, Saturday, May 18, 2024 at her home.

Linda Sue (Johnson) Shy was adopted at birth by Noah and Myrtle Johnson of Alba, Missouri. She graduated from NEO University with her nursing degree. She worked at St. John's (Mercy hospital Joplin Mo) as an R.N. for 40+ years.

Linda was passionate about her family, pets, gardening, and cooking. But her real love was being a nurse. She loved taking care of other people.

She is survived by her sons: Chris and Barbara Long of Sarcoxie, Missouri, Casey and Terri Hagebusch of Clinton, Missouri, Clay Hagebusch of Joplin, Missouri, her daughters: Sarah and Stephen Harrington of Joplin, Missouri, Kalia and Jonathan Beaver of Joplin, Missouri. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren that she loved and spoiled.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Vansant-Mills Funeral Home, Clinton, Missouri and are pending at this time.
