Obituary

With gentle grace, Linda Lue Jolley passed away peacefully on February 20, 2025 in Warsaw, Missouri. Born on January 13th, 1953 to James Orville & Ruby Jolley who ran a local excavating company. Linda grew up in the Springfield area alongside her twin sister, Brenda Sue (deceased), and their four brothers; Jim, Dan, Mike & John (both of the latter are deceased).

Linda lived a life filled with simple pleasures. At one point in her life she drove a truck and trailer in order to see our beautiful countryside. Linda had been married and divorced, blessing the world with four children, Timothy Wayne Jolley (deceased), Ruby LeAnna Lawson, David Joseph & James Paul VanLue. From that generation, Linda is survived by her five grandchildren; Jessica Lawson, Victoria Lawson, Tacy Lawson, Brayden James & Tyler Lavern VanLue and 3 great grandchildren; BreAnna Gile, Julie Gile and Michael Janes.

Linda found beauty in the everyday, cherishing moments spent with family and friends. Her time was often filled with John Wayne films and watching football. Specifically, Linda was a Dallas Cowboy fanatic. She passed on her love of football to all of her children-hoping to turn her boys into allstar athletes.

Though we are all heartbroken by this loss, Linda Jolley's strong & fearless spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Let us remember that Linda is now reunited with her beloved twin sister and eldest son.

Precious Poem Celebrating a Mother's Love:

I will always be there for you.

You will never be alone.

I will be that candle in the window,

So you can always find your way back home.
