Linda Joyce Cox, age 81, of Clinton, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 leaving behind a legacy of love, dedication, and quiet strength. A celebration of Linda's will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Clinton with visitation from 10:00-11:00 AM prior to the service. Memorial contributions can be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church and may be left in care of the funeral home.

Born on June 9, 1944, daughter of Betty and Clyde "Bud" Richarson.  Linda lived a life rooted in family, hard work, and care for those around her. She spent many years as an office manager at Sioux Chief Manufacturing, where she was known for her reliability, organization, and steady presence. After retiring, she continued to devote herself to what mattered most to her — her family.

Linda was a loving wife to Gerald Cox for 63 years, and a devoted mother to Shari Lampugnale and Chris Cox. Her pride and joy were her family, especially her nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her immense happiness. She found deep fulfillment in watching her family grow and cherished the moments spent together, both big and small.

Linda was long-time active member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Clinton, where enjoyed serving others in the community through the Quilting Guild and the Lutheran Women's Missionary League.

Those who knew Linda will remember her for her warmth, her quiet strength, and her unwavering support of the people she loved. Her presence was a constant source of comfort, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Linda's memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, and in the many lives she touched throughout her years.
