Linda Lou Bramell was born on May 21, 1948, at Independence Sanitarium. She graduated from Vanhorn High School, Independence, MO in May 1966. Linda passed away at Adair Rehabilitation Center, Clinton, MO on October 1, 2026. Linda inherited a love of cars from her Bramell side of the family. She had a 1968 GTO, a 1969 or 1970 Road Runner, a Mustang, a Camaro, a Duster, a Corvette and Bronco, two different black trucks, and several Escapes. The Corvette was her favorite with the truck she owned when she died coming in second. Linda loved go-cart racing as a kid and enjoyed it again with her cousin Glenda's three boys: Cottan, Corey and Kelly. She loved sewing and was involved in Civil War Reenacting. She made period correct garments for herself and fellow reenactors. Linda also crocheted and did cross-stitch. She loved to go dancing as a young adult. She also played softball and basketball for Maywood Baptist Church. She was a Christian and a Baptist by faith having accepted the Lord as a child. She had been a member of Maywood Baptist Church since her profession of faith. After Linda graduated from high school, she worked as a key punch operator/bookkeeper. Later in life she returned to school and obtained her BSN and worked in nursing until she retired at 70. When Donita retired, Linda and Donita bought a home together in Clinton, MO and they were living in this home at the time of her death.
