Linda Sue Barnes, age 53, Nevada, Missouri passed away Monday, November 10, 2008 at the Medicalodge of Nevada. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 15, 2008 at Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton, Missouri with visitation 1:00-2:00 p.m. prior to the service. Linda was born in Wichita, Kansas the youngest of twelve children. She was a member of the Apostolic Penecostal Church, Clinton.

Linda is survived by four sisters, Helen Faye Houk, Clinton, Missouri, Ruby Hopkins, Sheldon, Missouri, Aliene House, Plano, Texas, and Martha Releford, Colorado City, Colorado; five brothers, Ralph Barnes, Clinton, Missouri, Alvin Barnes, Matheson, Colorado, Benny Barnes, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Albert Barnes, Hurst, Texas, and Gerald Barnes, Eldorado, Kansas; a number of nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
