Leslie Wayne Claypool, Jr., age 64, of Deepwater, Missouri passed away Monday, September 24, 2012 at his home. Memorial services will be 11:00 A.M., Saturday, September 29, 2012 at Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Wayne was a welder for the Berwin Railways in Iowa. He was a member of the Boilmakers Union in Iowa. He served in the U.S. Navy.

He married Sharon Lucas February 16, 1973. She preceded him in death on June 12, 1996.
He was also preceded in death by his parents Leslie Wayne Claypool, Sr. and Doris Jean (Blank) Claypool and a sister Diane Holt.

Survivors include his sons Travis (Stephanie) Claypool and Tony (Teresa) Claypool both of Deepwater, two sisters, Suzanne Scott, Deepwater and Roxanne Holt, Clinton; and grandchildren, Hayden Gabriel Claypool, Jazmen Kay Claypool and Cooper Wayne Claypool.
