Leroy G. Simmons, Jr., age 45 of Clinton, Missouri passed away Saturday, August 3, 2013 at his home. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton with burial in Englewood Cemetery, Clinton. Family will receive friends one hour before the service on Tuesday at the chapel. Family suggests contributions to the American Heart Association and may be left at the funeral home. Leroy was born in Clinton, Missouri, the son of Leroy G. and Eva Lee (Johnson) Simmons. He was a member of Parks Chapel Church. He was a truck driver of Dennis Knifong Trucking.

He is survived by his parents; Leroy and Eva Lee Simmons of Clinton; his spouse Kimberly Jackson and her daughter Megan; two sisters, Jana Dye of Kearney, Missouri and Cheryl McElhany of McAlester, Oklahoma and three nieces and nephews, Seth Synder, Matt Dye and Megan Dye.
