Lawrence "Cap" Norcross, age 87 of Clinton, Missouri passed away Thursday, October 19, 2006 at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 23, 2006 at Vansant-Mills Chapel with Dr. David Maggi officiating. The family will receive friends Monday from 1-2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Englewood Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association and may be left in care of the funeral home. Lawrence was a farmer for the majority of his life. He was a member of Clinton United Methodist Church.

Lawrence is survived by his wife Lacy of Clinton, two sons, Larry Norcross and wife Maril, Lonnie Norcross and wife Lynda, all of Blairstown, two brothers, Ernest Norcross, of Clinton, Claude Norcross and wife Dorothy, of Drexel, two sisters, Eunice Clark, Margaret Ragland and husband Charles, all of Clinton, five grandchildren, Tory Norcross, Tracy Norcross and wife Lori, Corey Norcross, Carrie Zwally and husband Mike, and Casey Becker and husband Mike, step granddaughter, Drusilla Oliver, and six great grandchildren, Abigal, Madeline, and Olivia Norcross, Brandon and Bailey Schofield, and Dylan Marriott.
