Laverna Maxine Stewart, age 83, of Clinton, passed away Sunday, October 11, 2015 at Clinton Healthcare and Rehab Center of Clinton, Missouri. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Friday, October 16, 2015 at Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton, Missouri. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Burial will be in the Maplewood Cemetery, Brownington, Missouri. Family suggests memorial contributions to C.A.R.E.(Clinton Animal Rescue Endeavor) and may be left in care of the funeral home. Laverna was the daughter of Lemmie and Clarica 'Alice'(Downing) Loyd. She was a homemaker and a member of the Deepwater Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, Lee Etta Pinzenscham and Loretta Jean Loyd.

Survivors include her daughter Leann Crowder, Clinton; a sister, LaVera Elmer, Deepwater; two grandchildren, Clarica Tulli and Tammy Copple; six great grandchildren, Ashley Tulli, Aaron Tulli, Courtney Roark, Brittany Roark, Tiffany Roark, and Nataley Roark; nieces and nephews, Brad Elmer, Scott Elmer, John Elmer, Mike Pinzenscham, Robert Pinzenscham, Kathy Ewertz; as well as several great nieces and nephews.
