Larry Dean Bailey age 78 of Clinton, Missouri passed away Tuesday October 27, 2020. Graveside service will be 10:30AM Monday, November 2, 2020 at the Vansant Road Cemetery, Clinton, Missouri. He will be laid to rest next to the family who have preceded him. The family requests in lieu of flowers; donations be given to the Larry Bailey Memorial Fund.

Larry was born February 18, 1942 in Henry County, Missouri. Mr. Bailey graduated from Clinton High School in 1950. He worked mainly as a mechanic, carpenter and cook. No matter what he was doing, his heart of service to others came through. He spent his pastime hunting, fishing and catching up with friends and family.

Larry was preceded in death by his first-born son Larry Dean Bailey Jr., father Shandy Bailey, brother Shandy Bailey Jr., sister-in-law Virginia Bailey (Periman), niece Lanette Bailey and nephew Clifford Bailey. He is survived by his mother, Marian Bailey (Brann), two brothers Lester and William (Bill) Bailey, two children Thomas Bailey and Angela Miller, four grandchildren, Dustin Howard, Andrew Miller, Dakota Howard, Deborah Tedder and one great grandchild Aryaunna Childers. Larry is also survived by his nephews, nieces and many longtime friends.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Vansant-Mills Funeral Home Clinton, Missouri.
