Kenneth L. Tuggle, age 88, of Clinton, MO passed away Monday, October 1, 2012 at the Missouri Veterans Home in Warrensburg, MO. A Celebration of Kenneth's Life will be Friday October 5, 2012 at 7:30 pm at the Vansant-Mills Funeral Home, Clinton. Visitation wil be from 6:00pm to 7:30 pm Friday at the chapel. Graveside services will be Saturday, October 6th, 2012 at 1:00 pm at the Shelbyville Cemetery, Shelbyville, MO. Visitation be be from 12:00 pm to 1:00pm at the Shelbyville Christian Church, Shelbyville, MO on Saturday. Memorial contributions in Kenneth's memory can be made to the Golden Valley Christian Church or the Veteran's Home in Warrensburg and can be left in care of the funeral home.

Kenneth was born May 15th, 1924 in Shelbyville, MO to Hurley and Alta (Polly) Boyles Tuggle. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Army earning five Bronze Stars for his heroic actions. Kenneth retired from HeetCo. Propane Gas Company after 39 years of service as a plant manager in Shelbyville. Kenneth was a member of the Shelbyville Christian Church for 56 years, and a charter member of the Golden Valley Christian Church in Clinton. He is preceded in death by his parents, and both of his brothers and their wives.

Among survivors are his wife of 64 years Mary, of the home, a daughter, Marla Kay (Dr. Kenneth) Jones of Clinton, MO, and a son, Dr. Dennis (Yvonne) Tuggle of Blue Springs, MO. Five Grandchildren Christina Tuggle, Lee Summit, MO, Andrew Tuggle, Lee Summit, MO, Dr. Austin (Melynne) Jones, Kansas City, MO Meredith(Josh)Sien, Lebanon, MO and Alex Jones of Clinton, MO. Three great-grandchildren, Atticus, Abrielle, and Asa Jones. And many nieces and nephews.
