Kathy Roos, age 65, passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at her home in Clinton, Missouri and is being laid to rest by her grandparents in Hopewell Cemetery in Montrose, Missouri.  A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday September, 9, 2024.

Kathy Lynn (Young) Roos was born on February 6, 1959, in Clinton, Missouri, to parents Lloyd and Elizabeth Young. She was welcomed by two older sisters, Sandra, and Marsha.

Kathy enjoyed working on her cross stitch, was an avid reader of a good book especially Stephen King. She loved Rock-N-Roll music and going to concerts. Her love was for Ted Nugent.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Marsha Cook, one niece, Angela Hammond

Survivors include her son, Nicholas Roos and is his husband Louis Hoerner, her sister Sandra (Gary) Doll of Urich, Missouri, her younger brother Ronald Young of Clinton, Missouri, and many cousins and nieces and nephews.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home in Clinton, Missouri.
