Kathleen N. Hendren, age 68 of Deepwater, Missouri passed away Friday, February 20, 2009 at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital, Clinton. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at the Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton with burial in the Deepwater Cemetery, Deepwater, Missouri. Family will receive friends one hour before the service on Tuesday at the chapel. Family suggests contributions to the American Lung Association and may be left at the funeral home.

Kathleen was born in Kansas City, Missouri. She worked as a laminator for Shields Laminating in Kansas City, Missouri before she retired. She was married to William "Wilie" Thomas Hendren who preceded her in death on February 18, 2008.

She is survived by nine daughters, Tina Hendren and Debra Groves of Lowry City, Missouri, Cheryl Burton and Tabitha Hendren of Kansas City, Missouri; Jennifer Jefferson of Grandview, Missouri; Cathy Beck of Deepwater, Missouri; Diana Rayburn of Strasburg, Missouri; Tracy Belk of the home; and Melissa Veach of Chillicothe, Missouri; three sons, Willie Thomas Hendren of Cameron, Missouri, Bo Hendren of the home and Jerrold Hendren of Hutchinson, Kansas; two brothers, Carl Floyd of Overland Park, Kansas and Billy of Texas as well as 40 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren.
